Production of the first Islamic car
Malaysia's Proton plans for the automotive industry's first production car equipped with an Islamic compass points to Mecca and a special place to store the Koran in cooperation with Iran and Turkey.
The news agency quoted the Malaysian Director-General of the company Mr. Zine El Abidine saying they are trying to develop a vehicle that is equipped with all the advantages of Islamic can be produced in Malaysia, Iran or Turkey, adding that it would be earmarked for export.
He pointed out that the initiative was an Iranian and Iran wants to call the name of Islamic car, without giving further details.
